Authors Requiring Visa to Attend Congress
If you live in a country
that is not part of the Visa
Waiver Program, you can request early notification of abstract
acceptance/rejection decision in order to have time to apply for a visa. Please
contact program co-chair Richard Hughes
if you wish to request early notification.
Awards
American Society of Biomechanics. See the ASB Awards Page
for more information.
- Borelli and Hay Awards. Abstracts are not required
for the Borelli Award and Hay Award.
Nominations for these awards should be made to the ASB Awards Committee
(see ASB Awards
web page).
- President’s Award,
Journal of
Biomechanics Award, and Clinical
Biomechanics Award. Authors do not have to do anything special at the
time of abstract submission to have their work considered for these
awards.
- Young Scientist Awards. Nominations for the Young
Scientist Pre-Doctoral Award and Young
Scientist Post-Doctoral Awards should be made to the ASB Awards
Committee (see ASB
Awards web page).
Canadian Society for Biomechanics.
- CSB Student Travel Grants.?There will be up to 20 travel grants
awarded to help cover the expenses related to the Congress.?Each grant will be valued at up to $300
- NDI New Investigator Awards for CSB.?Consider applying for an NDI New
Investigator Award of the CSB in one of three possible categories,
Masters, Doctorate, Post-Doctorate.

Memorial Posters
The Congress will accept
posters in memory of biomechanists who have passed
away in the last year. No abstract is required. For more information, email Richard Hughes.
